Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New York state
• Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience in Emergency Room nursing
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and triage skills
• Ability to stay focused and composed in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Delivering direct, compassionate care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent health conditions
• Coordinating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Performing triage, monitoring vital signs, initiating IVs, administering medications, and monitoring patient responses
• Documenting assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately
• Educating patients and families about treatments or follow-up care as needed
