responsibilities:
- Review architectural plans and data to determine material and labor requirements for itemized lists.
- Prepare documents including material take-offs, estimates, quote logs, and scopes of work.
- Consult with clients and vendors to formulate accurate estimates and resolve potential issues.
- Compute cost factors and analyze completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs.
- Interface with internal teams to obtain support for cost estimates and recommend process improvements.
