Here, your craftsmanship contributes to projects you can see take shape.What You'll DoWeld pipe using SMAW (stick), GTAW (TIG), and GMAW (MIG), as qualified and required by the project.Produce complete, sound welds that meet quality standards and have a clean finish.Support mechanical system installations and identify work that may fall short of plans, specifications, or code requirements.Plan daily and weekly work, coordinate with the crew, and request the materials, tools, and equipment needed to keep work moving.Meet production goals while maintaining safe, high-quality workmanship.Maintain the personal hand tools needed for your assigned work.What You BringField welding experience and knowledge of pipefitting practices, materials, and tools.The ability to follow established procedures, solve problems, and communicate when something needs attention.A commitment to safety, quality, and helping your crew succeed.Field Welder 1 and Field Welder 2 assignments depend on your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
