Outside Sales (Kansas City, MO)

Vander Haag's has an excellent career advancement opportunity in the Kansas City, MO location! We're looking for a Outside Sales Representative ! Position Summary This person will work closely with other leaders within the organization to develop strategies focused on market share growth, customer satisfaction, and growth of the facilities' location. What You'll Do Develop and maintain relationships with a designated group of repair shops and fleets. Maintain sales growth with designated customers through regular communication, follow-up, and proactive sales efforts. Actively prospect and generate new business within assigned territory. Conduct regular in-person customer visits and follow-ups. Promote Vander Haag’s full product offering (new, used, rebuilt parts). Identify customer needs and recommend cost-effective solutions. Prepare and follow up on quotes to close sales opportunities. Collaborate with inside sales and parts teams to ensure excellent customer service. Track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system. Stay informed on product knowledge, pricing, and industry trends. What We're Looking For Prior experience in the trucking or construction equipment industry (preferred). Current, valid driver's license (required). Successfully passing a pre-employment MVR records check for insurance purposes. Schedule & Compensation Full-time, day shift position: Monday through Friday Paid on a base + commission structure.
