Pulmonology Physician – Independent Practice (Ownership Model) MedCBO, Inc. is a Colorado-based healthcare infrastructure company that supports independent physician groups across the United States. About the Opportunity We partner with physicians who wish to establish or transition to an independently operated medical practice powered by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. The physician owns, governs, and operates the medical practice entity; MedCBO provides non‑clinical operational and business support. Physician Responsibilities Provide specialty care within the scope of Pulmonology. Develop and maintain professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing and participation as required. Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform implementation. Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted medical license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
