When a new platform needs to be provisioned, orchestrated, and qualified, we're the ones who make it happen—and we genuinely enjoy the work.As our Sr. Platform Integration Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind getting emerging platforms ready for scaled testing and qualification. This is a software-focused role: you'll blend hands-on development, infrastructure engineering, and technical leadership to shape the systems our engineers depend on every day. You'll work with firmware integration points and build a working understanding of incoming hardware capabilities—while our dedicated hardware team owns the physical handling and debug. If you like solving problems that span software, automation, and firmware integration, this is a role where your work directly advances our most important achievements.Responsibilities:Integrate new computing platforms into automation, provisioning, observability, and test orchestration ecosystems through software and firmware integration pointsDesign and maintain full-stack applications, APIs, automation services, and operational toolingBuild infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, and platform provisioning workflowsPartner with collaborators on platform requirements and qualification schedules while coordinating technical readiness across engineering fieldsTroubleshoot complex software, automation, and infrastructure issues, using AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to speed deliveryMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical disciplineExperience developing and supporting full-stack applications in complex engineering environmentsExperience building software automation, DevOps, or infrastructure solutionsStrong grasp of CI/CD methodologies, distributed systems, and infrastructure automationExperience leading technical initiatives and coordinating work across multiple teamsPreferred Qualifications:Hands-on experience with container orchestration and cloud-native architectures such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, and GCPProficiency with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and REST APIs alongside Linux administrationFamiliarity with workflow orchestration and scheduling tools such as Temporal and HashiCorp NomadExperience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, and LokiHands-on use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or CursorAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
