Job Summary
As a primary care provider, you will manage a dedicated patient panel, delivering continuous and comprehensive care for infants, children, youth, and adults. You will engage in consultations with other healthcare practitioners and actively participate in quality improvement and risk management initiatives to enhance family medicine services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver family medicine services in both clinic and hospital environments.
- Participate in medical record audits, policy development, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Submit professional service charges timely and provide agreed-upon charity care.
- Fulfill on-call and call coverage duties as required.
- Engage in community outreach and contribute to patient and provider satisfaction efforts.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with legal and accreditation standards.
- Provide input on budget, staffing, and equipment needs, and assist with supervision of non-provider staff.
- Support a positive, collaborative work environment and uphold organizational values.
Education and Experience
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
Licenses and Certifications
- Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in the state of Washington.
- DEA certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills across a broad range of medical conditions.
- Proficiency with current technology and ability to learn new systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to diverse audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
