The Director will oversee an experienced HR team and work closely with executive and operational leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong California employment-law knowledge, sound judgment, and experience supporting both corporatelessorporate and field-based employees. Prior experience within property management, real estate, or another multi-site industry is strongly preferred. Qualifications Significant progressive human resources experience, including experience leading an HR department or function Previous experience managing and developing HR professionals Strong working knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance Demonstrated experience handling complex employee-relations matters and workplace investigations Experience supporting a multi-location workforce with both corporate and field-based employees Ability to operate strategically while remaining comfortable with hands-on HR responsibilities Strong judgment, discretion, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to build credibility and provide thoughtful, confident guidance to senior leadership Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus Property management, real estate, hospitality, facilities services, or another multi-site and operationally focused industry Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations Familiarity with onsite employee arrangements and location-specific employment practices Experience with Paylocity or a comparable HRIS/payroll platform Interested in hearing more?
