We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activity Aide to join our team at Concord Care Center of Sandusky. As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by creating engaging and meaningful experiences. Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing activities for residents, including arts and crafts, games, entertainment, and recreational programs
Ensure activities are tailored to meet the needs and interests of each resident
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to promote teamwork and communication
Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as grooming, feeding, and mobility
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
Collaborate with rehabilitation staff to develop and implement therapy plans
Document resident participation and progress in activities
Participate in resident assessments and care planning meetings
