Shipping Clerk
Midway Staffing is currently hiring for a Shipping Clerk in Antioch, IL. If you are organized, detail-oriented, bilingual, and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Location: Antioch, IL
Schedule: Monday Friday, 2:50 PM 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Generate bills for orders scheduled to ship.
- Process customer orders using the Oracle ERP system.
- Assist truck drivers by locating their orders and assigning dock doors.
- Contact drivers when freight has been loaded and is ready for pickup.
- Release and print the next day's orders, including copies and shipping labels.
- Respond to emails and communicate with internal departments as needed.
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation and records.
- Perform other administrative and shipping-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Previous shipping, warehouse office, or logistics experience preferred.
- Experience using an ERP system (Oracle experience is a plus).
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
