Senior Manager, Accounting

Pay Rate: $79.00 per hour, paid weekly Location: 4000 Luxottica PL., Mason, OH (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week, no exceptions) Assignment Type: Contract (3+ months, potential extension) Start Date: Immediate

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Accounting to lead key accounting, reporting, and audit activities. This role will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit coordination while partnering closely with finance leadership and global corporate teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close activities, including review and approval of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, consolidations, and corporate reporting packages.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards, maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and internal controls.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audits, partnering with auditors to ensure timely and successful completion of audit requirements.
• Manage and develop accounting team members by setting expectations, providing performance feedback, delegating responsibilities, and driving accountability.
• Support strategic initiatives, financial system implementations, intercompany reconciliations, and process improvements while maintaining a strong Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidations, month-end close, and audit processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• CPA or MBA, public accounting experience, and knowledge of SAP FI/CO, Hyperion HFM, and Essbase are preferred.
