Powder Coater (Aerospace) Location: Claremore, OK Pay: $18/hour Shift: Day Shift Powder Coater Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Powder Coater with at least 1+ year of experience in powder coating, a strong understanding of coating equipment and settings (including KV and fluidizing), and the ability to identify and troubleshoot common coating issues such as adhesion problems, outgassing, and inconsistent coverage. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality finishes, communicates effectively, and demonstrates strong critical thinking skills while working with hand tools, adhesives, and sealants in a fast-paced environment. Powder Coater Primary Responsibilities Prepare parts for coating including cleaning, sanding, media blasting, masking, and outgassing Apply powder coat using Parker Ionics powder coating equipment Coat a variety of finishes including solid colors, metallics, clears, and specialty coatings Monitor oven temperatures and cure times to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality Inspect coated parts to ensure compliance with aerospace and internal quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of spray booth and work area Ensure proper grounding and functionality of all coating equipment Follow all safety and quality procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Powder Coater Minimum Qualifications 1+ year of powder coating experience Working knowledge of powder coating systems and settings (KV, fluidizing, etc.) Ability to troubleshoot coating defects and adjust processes accordingly Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication and problem-solving skills Experience using hand tools, adhesives, and sealants Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40 lbs safely Frequent use of hands for pushing, pulling, and handling parts Ability to reach, bend, and move throughout the workday #HP TRINITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER See the great things people are saying by checking out our Google reviews, along with our Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter.
