Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Description

Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you will play a vital role in assembling quick release couplings, operating assembly equipment, and ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining high standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assemble quick release couplings efficiently and accurately.
• Operate all assembly equipment to ensure smooth production flow.
• Package completed assemblies for shipment with attention to detail.
• Verify the function of the product to ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in continuous improvement opportunities using A3 and 3-legged 5 why tools.
• Follow standard work and work instructions meticulously.
• Maintain a clean work environment using the 5S principle.
• Work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Achieve and maintain a minimum of 90% daily attainment level.

• Proficiency in assembly and production processes.
• Experience in packing and general labor.
• Skillful in machine operation and mechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with hand tools and machine operating.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Capability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Motivation and a positive attitude.

Work Environment

Work in a well-lit, clean, and organized environment with climate control. Experience the investment in new equipment, including automation and CNC machines. Choose between 1st shift (6:30am-2:30pm) and 2nd shift (2:30pm-10:30pm) in a bench-type assembly setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chetek, WI.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Chetek,WI.
