HVAC Service Technician/Service Manager

Dirks Heating & Cooling, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We are a family-owned company serving residential customers throughout northwest Wisconsin and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

Required:

• 4 years minimum experience in residential HVAC maintenance, diagnostics, and repair
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• EPA Certification
• Reliable, dependable, and organized
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay minimum $28.50 hourly. Higher wages available based on experience, certifications, and skill level.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating and cooling systems
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns, recommending repairs, system upgrades, improvements, and service agreements
• Collect payments and complete required customer documentation
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and job notes using company software
• Perform testing, analysis, and system performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and all applicable environmental and regulatory standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle
• Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and management
• Work safely in outdoor conditions and all types of weather
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Participate in winter on-call emergency service rotation
