P/T Program Aide/Score Keeper

Job Title

Score keep at scheduled games tournaments and league play scheduled by the Athletics Division. Documents player/team incidents and accidents during game play. Operates scorebook, time clock or scoreboard.

Works under the direct supervision of Athletics/Aquatics Supervisor/Athletics Recreation Specialist who oversees Athletic sport leagues and event programs. Informs and enforces league sport rules during game play.

Primary duties and responsibilities include scoring keeping and helping maintain flow of the game by answering and clarifying any rule or interpretation of rules. Documents in scorebook and also operates scoreboard. Assistance with administering first aide procedures to an injured participant, filling out necessary documentation and informing Supervisor.

Desired minimum qualifications include coursework in health and fitness and sport knowledge, coaching, first aid and CPR certificates desirable. Work experiences all age groups in a recreational setting a plus. Knowledge of determining athlete fatigue and injury. Special requirements include CPR Certification a Plus First Aid Certification Required.
