We are looking for a Staff Accountant to support pricing analysis and core accounting activities for a fully onsite team. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who can interpret financial data, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly across business functions. The role combines analytical pricing responsibilities with hands-on accounting support, making it a strong fit for someone who is comfortable working with both numbers and operational processes.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze cost, pricing, and market data to identify financial trends, support quoting decisions, and highlight areas of potential exposure.
• Prepare and maintain pricing records, quote documentation, and reference files with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
• Develop cost forecasts and evaluate pricing assumptions to help improve margin performance and support business opportunities.
• Create journal entries and assist with general ledger activities to ensure financial records are complete and properly maintained.
• Support tax-related accounting tasks, including work connected to corporate tax and sales tax processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver timely pricing information, clarify quote details, and help ensure submitted figures are understood and applied correctly.
• Monitor transactional results and pricing outcomes to help strengthen profitability and reduce avoidable financial risk.
• Use advanced Excel skills to organize, analyze, and present financial information for decision-making and ongoing reporting.• Experience in staff accounting, pricing analysis, or a similar finance-focused role.
• Strong working knowledge of journal entries and general ledger accounting.
• Familiarity with corporate tax, sales tax, and corporate tax return support.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large data sets efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong time management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• High attention to detail, sound problem-solving skills, and a well-organized approach to work.
