Supplier Performance Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Supplier Performance Manager to oversee supplier onboarding, qualification, and production readiness. The role involves establishing performance expectations, monitoring metrics, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the supplier lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Onboard and develop new suppliers through qualification, first article, and production readiness phases
- Establish performance expectations and monitor supplier scorecards and key performance indicators
- Identify performance gaps early and drive corrective actions throughout supplier lifecycle
- Lead supplier development and continuous improvement activities using data analytics
- Partner with cross-functional teams and regional suppliers to strengthen capabilities and mitigate risks
Requirements
- Advanced degree plus 6 years supplier management experience, or bachelor's degree plus 8 years related experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, QAD) and supplier management platforms
- Advanced data analytics and visualization capabilities
- APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or Six Sigma/Lean certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing supplier scorecards, audits, and performance assessments
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
