About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year; Acute Care Rehab experience preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - EPIC experience required - Interpretation of laboratory results and medication reconciliation - Experience with patient health questionnaire history, allergies, vital signs, dressing changes, and aseptic procedures - Capillary, labeling of specimens, and phlebotomy skills - Telephone triage experience; able to manage pharmacy calls and patient refill requests - Experience managing patients with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and neurological diagnoses Description: This position requires a registered nurse to work 3x12 hour shifts during the day, from 07:00 to 19:30. Every third weekend and holidays as needed are required. Floating between various facilities may be necessary as needed. The expected patient ratio during the day is 1:6, although some rotations may involve a ratio of 1:7 for similar acuity levels. This department specializes in inpatient rehabilitation for patients with rehabilitation needs, including those recovering from stroke, aneurysm, and post-operative surgical procedures. Duties include interpreting dysrhythmias and providing neurological care for adults and geriatric patients. Interdisciplinary support includes teams in IV, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Candidates should have experience with tele monitoring and be capable of handling patient assessments effectively.
