Honeywell Anthem Integrated Flight Deck Honeywell's Anthem Integrated Flight Deck is a cloud-connected cockpit system that can be customized for many aircraft types. Role Overview As an Advanced Flight Deck Human Factors Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Anthem Integrated Flight Deck platform team focused on the advancement of Honeywell's Avionics technologies and human‑machine interaction. Responsibilities Support Human Factors integration across Flight Deck and Avionics system architectures Contribute to system architecture for major avionics domains, flight deck features, or architectural areas within the Anthem Flight Deck platform. Human Factors analyses, design recommendations, and compliance artifacts Support pilot interaction evaluations with avionics systems across normal, abnormal, and emergency scenarios Work with cross‑functional teams and leadership in supporting the definition and governance of system architectures, interfaces, design principles, and technical standards across programs and product variants Work with technical leadership to ensure application of human factors and cognitive engineering principles at the platform level, including workload, situation awareness, error tolerance, and automation design Participate or support the resolution of root cause investigations spanning hardware, software, human interaction, and system integration boundaries Flight deck HMI development, including displays, alerts, controls, and automation logic Stay updated on the latest advancements in systems engineering, human factors, and flight deck technology.
