- # PA BERKS COUNTY-EARN Program SpecialistApplylocations: PA CL Berks Countytime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R-100649**Job Description:****Salary:** $45,000**Essential Functions**:· Develop and maintain relationships with new, existing, and prospective employers throughout the service area.· Conduct individualized assessments to identify participants' employment, family, educational, and personal development needs.· Assist with participant enrollment and ensure all required documentation and assessments are completed accurately and in a timely manner.· Build professional one-on-one relationships with participants to identify and reduce barriers to employment and self-sufficiency.· Provide ongoing case management, follow-up, coaching, and retention services.· Initiate reemployment strategies for participants who experience job loss to minimize employment gaps and maintain program engagement.· Ensure participants follow through with planned activities as outlined by program requirements and Individual Employment Plans (IEPs).· Review participant qualifications and match candidates with appropriate employment opportunities.· Assist participants with resume development, interview preparation, and job search activities.· Conduct mock interviews and provide employment readiness coaching.· Support hiring events, recruitment efforts, and employer outreach initiatives.· Assist with the delivery of job readiness workshops, career development activities, and employability training.· Encourage participant accountability and active participation in program activities.· Support curriculum-related activities, portfolio development, interview preparation, and workforce readiness instruction.· Complete all required documentation accurately and within established timelines.· Enter and maintain accurate participant information in all required databases and reporting systems.· Review participant files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.· Assist with file scanning, document management, weekly time and attendance, audits, data reconciliation, and quality control activities.· Collaborate with internal staff to coordinate participant services and address emergent needs.· Maintain flexibility in work assignments and provide support across program functions as operational needs require.· Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.**Qualifications**:Education and Experience· Associate degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, Business, Workforce Development, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.· Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**· Strong understanding of workforce development, employment services, adult learning, and case management principles.· Excellent organizational and time management skills.· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.· Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.· Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.· Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management systems.· Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and cultural competence.**Core Competencies**· Participant-Centered Service· Employment and Career Development· Adaptability and Flexibility· Customer Service Excellence· Communication· Cultural Competence· Documentation and Compliance· Problem Solving· Organization and Attention to Detail· Teamwork and Collaboration· Accountability and Results OrientationEDSI is an equal opportunity employer.
