Job Summary:

Provides specialized support to the surgical team by preparing and maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, and ensuring supplies are ready for surgical procedures. Functions as a vital member of the operating room, facilitating efficient and safe surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare for surgical cases by verifying and assembling necessary supplies and equipment.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a sterile environment by setting up and managing sterile fields during procedures.
  
  
• 
  Pass instruments, supplies, and medications accurately to surgeons during operations.
  
  
• 
  Perform cleaning, disinfection, and proper handling of surgical tools and equipment.
  
  
• 
  Transport patients safely and efficiently according to schedule.
  
  
• 
  Complete necessary documentation, including counts of instruments, sponges, needles, and blades.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a current Surgical Technician certification.
  
  
• 
  Hold at least a high school diploma or GED; associates or technical degree preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate recent surgical or operating room experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit proficiency in multiple surgical specialties, including trauma, neuro-spine, vascular, and robotics.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 8-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
