Overview Opportunity: Managing Director| Lifestyle Hotel HHM Hotels is working on a highly anticipated lifestyle hotel currently under development in the heart of Manhattan. We are seeking a dynamic and polished Managing Director to lead our pre-opening and launch phases. As the leader of this premier New York property, you will be responsible for managing all hotel operations to maximize profits while delivering the high-touch, sophisticated guest experience that the lifestyle market demands. You will play a pivotal role in building the team from the ground up and establishing the hotel's presence in the competitive NYC landscape. Your Growth Path Area General Manager - Regional Director of Operations Your Focuses Pre-Opening Leadership: Lead the strategic planning and execution of the hotel opening, including staff recruitment, training, and the implementation of core values. Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Guest Experience: Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by overseeing the implementation of service standards, personalized experiences, and swift resolution of any issues. Financial Performance: Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue, optimize expenses, and achieve budgetary goals through regular financial analysis of. Operational Excellence: Maintain a seamless operation by overseeing all hotel departments, including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance, while following sustainability guidelines. Employee Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development, empowering team members to excel and advance within the organization. Your Background and Skills 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar leadership role in a hotel. Proven experience in a hotel opening, specifically within a lifestyle property. Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Strong financial acumen and the ability to develop budgets and manage performance.
