Help Desk Support - Tier 1

Job Summary

We are seeking a Help Desk Support - Tier 1 professional for a contract/temporary opportunity in Las Vegas, NV. This role is ideal for an IT support candidate with 1-2 years of experience who enjoys helping users, troubleshooting common technical issues, and delivering a positive customer service experience.

In this Tier 1 Help Desk Support role, you will be the first point of contact for technical assistance, handling inbound calls and support requests related to password resets, portal questions, and basic troubleshooting. This is a strong opportunity to build hands-on service desk experience in a professional support environment with clear escalation paths and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

- Answer inbound calls and respond to help desk requests through phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for user access, password resets, portal navigation, and basic system questions.
- Document support interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical issues to Tier 2 or Tier 3 support teams when appropriate.
- Deliver professional, patient, and customer-focused support to end users.
- Follow established procedures to ensure timely resolution and consistent service quality.

Compensation and Benefits

- Compensation: $41,600 per year.

- Experience responding to support requests by phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.
- Strong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and helpful while managing multiple support requests.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team-based support environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using help desk ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with password reset processes, user account support, and portal navigation assistance.
- Previous experience in a call center, service desk, or technical support environment.
