Work with a team that appreciates your passion and enthusiasm. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Performs general accounting and other related duties for the organization. Provide high-quality customer service to clients, family members, and other outside parties and serve as the point of contact for all billing inquiries and questions. Helps to maintain the general ledgers, reconciles accounts to subledgers monthly and annually, and helps in closing the monthly books. Reconciles bank accounts daily and monthly, verifies activity, and addresses issues with appropriate contact. Works with appropriate team members to resolve all ACH/EFT returns. Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll entries, intercompany accounts, and other financial accounts. Review AP invoice coding, review invoice approvals by department managers, and serve as back up for AP staff in processing invoices for payment. Provides outside auditors with assistance as needed; gathers necessary account information and documents to aid in the completion of annual audits. Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience (preferably in healthcare) Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
