Position Summary

The recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external).

This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote each week.

Responsibilities

• Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
• Screens resumes interviews candidates (by phone or in person) administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
• Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within assigned programs
• Uses traditional and nontraditional resources such as career fairs online job fairs community network events etc. to identify and attract quality candidates.
• Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
• Manages internal transfer process including screening coordination of interviews with hiring manager transfer offer letters etc.
• Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
• Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
• Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers as needed (e.g. benefits compensation noncompete agreements).
• Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all funder regulations and federal/state laws and regulations.
• Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Travel

• This position requires up to 40% travel to other JEVS locations and to local job fairs

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in business human resources or other related field of study preferred
• 2 years experience in recruiting or talent acquisition required; recruiting experience with human services or related industry preferred
• Prior experience with an ATS required
• Experience with ADP/UltiPro preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Must possess a high level of customer service skills
• Must have excellent computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel
• Must adhere to the JEVS code of conduct

This is a hybrid position: Four days in office and one day remote subject to change based on operational and program needs.

The base pay for this position ranges from $58000 to $60000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
