Working for the state allows you to enjoy a slower pace of life while still engaging in meaningful work.Overall, working for the State of Wyoming can offer a fulfilling career with great benefits, stability, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on your community, all while enjoying the beauty of Wyoming's natural landscape.Essential FunctionsInstalls and performs fault analysis, maintenance, and repairs on various types of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems.Installs environmental control units and facility support systems needing new installation or replacement systems.Specifies and designs required plumbing and electrical support infrastructure to include expanded service and electronic/digital controls.Regulates and accounts for the use of ozone-depleting substances regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency.Investigate the feasibility of converting systems to use environmentally responsible refrigerants.Responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable workplace, including participation in initiatives designed to promote a positive work environment.QualificationsPreference may be given to candidates with two (2) years of experience in HVAC.
