Additionally, the medical dosimetrist will, on occasion, aid in special procedures and brachytherapy treatment planning. As the program develops, the dosimetrist will also provide training to dosimetrists, physicists, radiation oncologists and affiliate trainees in dosimetry, support and adhere to the BHSF safety and compliance program to include OSHA, HIPAA and the Code of Ethics. Qualifications Bachelors. Licenses & Certifications MDCB Certified Medical Dosimetrist. Additional Qualifications Bachelors degree in a physical science or RTT and a graduate of a formal, JRCERT dosimetry program. A Masters in Science is preferred. Direct dosimetry experience and Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certified required. RTT experience from an accredited radiation therapy technology program is preferred. Experience with multiple treatment planning platforms, excellent communication skills, and leadership skills is preferred.
