Account Manager Opportunity

Our client is an established security, networking, and technology integration company hiring an Account Manager to own a territory across North Carolina. The incoming salesperson will inherit an established $2.5M book of commercial and SLED accounts.

The company has more than three decades of industry experience and continues to expand its capabilities through acquisition and innovation. This is a consultative, relationship-driven sell into public agency and commercial buyers, supported by experienced in-house engineers and technical specialists, not a transactional product sale.

The portfolio is broad enough that one customer relationship can create multiple revenue opportunities. Beyond enterprise networking and cybersecurity, the company can address wireless infrastructure, secure remote access, firewalls, endpoint protection, network monitoring, data center solutions, cloud technology, physical security, access control, video surveillance, communications, and emergency notification. Solutions can span the entire lifecycle from assessment and design through implementation, training, ongoing support, and managed services.

What You'll Do

• Own the full sales cycle across North Carolina, including managing and expanding an inherited $2.5M base of accounts
• Actively look for new accounts in an outside sales role
• Introduce additional company solutions, including physical security, access control, video surveillance, communications, and emergency notification technology, into existing customer accounts
• Identify opportunities to expand individual customer relationships across multiple technology categories rather than selling a single point solution
• Coordinate with an in-house engineering team on technical discovery, assessments, solution design, implementation planning, and ongoing customer needs
• Conduct customer meetings and field visits, with dedicated time for prospecting, proposals, and CRM management
• Develop relationships across IT, technology, security, operations, administration, and executive stakeholders
• Maintain accurate CRM records, build a territory plan, and prioritize the strongest opportunities

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000 to $130,000, based on experience
• OTE: $180,000 to $210,000+ | Uncapped commission (10% of gross profit) starting immediately on the inherited $2.5M book, plus quarterly revenue bonuses
