Patient Services Specialist – Journey Level Core front‑office functions performed with increased independence and efficiency. The Journey PSS is capable of performing all aspects of the Associate PSS role. Responsibilities Patient registration Appointment scheduling for routine and basic healthcare services Insurance verification General clerical duties and effective communication Qualifications 1 year of medical office or related experience, OR 6 months of experience as a Providence Employee in a related position Senior Patient Services Specialist Subject matter expert and resource to peers. Capable of performing all core functions of the Associate and Journey PSS roles.
