Receptionist – Front Desk (Full-Time) Location: Salem, OR Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM About the Role Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a full-time Receptionist to support the front desk of a busy pet care facility in Salem. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has excellent organizational skills. You'll be the first point of contact for clients while helping keep daily operations running smoothly in a facility caring for 35–40 dogs each day. Job Duties Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with questions Schedule appointments using a detailed internal scheduling system Coordinate future physical therapy appointments for pets Process payments and maintain accurate transactions Wash, fold, and manage laundry to help maintain a clean facility Greet clients and provide outstanding customer service Support daily front desk and administrative operations Qualifications Previous receptionist, front desk, or administrative experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organization and multitasking abilities Comfortable learning new software and navigating a detailed scheduling system Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Able to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working around dogs throughout the day Benefits This is an opportunity to join a small, locally owned business with a close-knit team.
