Patient Access Representative

To support multiple locations, the full-time Patient Access Representative, Float will manage patient registration and scheduling duties, greet patients, verify demographics, and assist with financial arrangements while working remotely. Key responsibilities Perform patient registration and scheduling by greeting patients, verifying demographics, and managing related paperwork Coordinate appointments, referrals, and pre-authorizations while collaborating with nursing teams and providers Mentor new Patient Access Representatives and assist with resolving registration-related issues and maintaining databases Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education is helpful One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial; customer service experience is essential Six months of customer service experience desired Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required for certain locations
