These values are the driving force behind our commitment to excellence, collaboration, and genuine care in every aspect of our work.COMPENSATION & LOCATIONThe compensation range for this role is $130,000-135,000.This is a hybrid position based out of our Elk Grove Village, IL location.POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for dispensing prescriptions and coordinating clinical services for Specialty Pharmacypatients and other customers serviced at the branch location. This position is responsible for interactingwith the health care professionals in the provision and coordination of customer care.ESSENTIAL DUTIESProviding specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug usage and therapeuticoutcomes including advising and educating physicians on patient issues concerning drugtherapy, the inherent toxicity of drugs, side effects, and appropriate dosing. Additionally,this role will be a key communicator to the physician regarding patient response totreatment issuesData Entry, verification of prescriptions and checking of orders.Coordinating the activities of assigned pharmacy technicians engaged in thepreparation, labeling and delivery of medications and other pharmaceutical supplies inaccordance with physicians' prescriptionsConducting and evaluating medication histories, assessing compliance andsuggestingmodifications so as to achieve desired outcomes. This role will provide educationalassistance to patients/families/caregivers to ensure understanding and to provideinformation regarding the patient’s therapy/treatment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TRAININGRequires a degree in pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy – Pharm. D. DegreepreferredCandidate must be licensed in the state of Illinois.
