Position Summary We are currently seeking a Senior Equity Research Analyst to cover the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. The ideal Analyst will have 8 to 12 years of related experience as a Senior Equity Research Analyst in fundamental analysis covering the biopharma sectors , will be a creative thinker, and have direct experience making price-based investment recommendations as a trusted partner in the equity investment process. We will consider candidates with a variety of backgrounds such as institutional portfolio management and hedge funds. This position will be based in Fort Lauderdale , Florida . Key Responsibilities How you will add value: Independently identify and evaluate profitable investment opportunities amongst listed in the US and broader Americas. Conduct thorough fundamental analysis of a company’s business and financial position, including cash flow analysis, balance sheet and income statement evaluations, and draw insightful conclusions. Communicate and advocate for investment opportunities verbally and through written research reports. Contribution to relevant equity portfolios as a team member What will help you be successful in this role? 8-12 years of fundamental equity research experience covering the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors as an equity analyst. Strong numeric, analytical and investment skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong investment performance track record Bachelor's degree and CFA required. MBA preferred. Work Schedule & Location This is an onsite full-time role based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida Work Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days On-Site This position does not provide a remote work option. Compensation Range: Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards—monetary and non-monetary — designed to support their well-being and recognize their time, talents, and results.
