Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.You Have: 8+ years of experience in enterprise data strategy, data governance, data management, or data quality5+ years of experience assisting with developing, implementing, and maturing data governance programs, policies, standards, and quality frameworks across complex organizationsExperience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams such as technical, business, legal, cybersecurity, and change management, to drive enterprise-wide governance outcomesExperience developing multi-year data management roadmaps, KPIs, and governance operating modelsExperience defining and accelerating data stewardship models, including domain-level roles, responsibilities, and accountability structuresKnowledge of industry data governance frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK, and tailoring them for practical enterprise adoptionAbility to operate at the enterprise-level, influence senior stakeholders with minimal direction, and create executive-ready materials, including presentation decks, decision briefs, strategic roadmaps, and governance scorecardsAbility to evaluate and prioritize high-value data domains, datasets, and use cases to support business strategy and AI transformationAbility to synthesize complex data governance concepts, risks, and dependencies into clear, concise narratives and recommendation pathways for executive audiences such as CIO, legal, cyber, and complianceBachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: Experience leading governance councils, working groups, or cross-functional forums to drive decisions and resolve issuesExperience with AI tooling, agentic AI capabilities, and enterprise AI governance and orchestrationExperience overseeing multiple concurrent governance initiatives, workstreams, or portfoliosKnowledge of enterprise technology environments, including cloud architectures, data platforms, and metadata or catalog solutions, to effectively partner with technical teamsAbility to influence organizational culture around data ownership, quality, and responsible data practicesPossession of strong communication skillsPossession of strong facilitation skillsPossession of strong organizational and project management skillsDAMA-DMBOK CertificationCompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
