Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory therapy care to adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting, ensuring optimal respiratory health and safety. Collaborate with medical teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with clinical best practices.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer and monitor respiratory treatments and procedures, including ventilation management and oxygen therapy.
  
  
• 
  Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment such as GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, and Newport HT70 transport vents.
  
  
• 
  Assess patient respiratory status, document findings, and adjust treatments accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Comply with all safety standards and hospital policies, including infection control and equipment sterilization.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams during patient care planning and emergencies.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation within Cerner EMR system and adhere to shift requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active North Carolina Respiratory License.
  
  
• 
  Be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; NRP preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate minimum of 2 years of critical care or hospital respiratory experience.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
