The PM provides visible leadership, accountability and authority over high profile projects and programs delivered to Insight clients. The PM works independently and exhibits a high degree of initiative in resolving problems encountered and developing recommended solutions. The PM must be flexible in delivering projects with different methodologies based on client and team needs. Job responsibilities include:Manage project and program teams to deliver highly visibly strategic solutions for our clients using waterfall, hybrid, and agile methodologies.Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation through close-out and transition.Help define and drive strategic direction of both Insight and our clients.Build key relationships with clients and leaders.Mitigate risk and proactively work project issues.Drive tangible and sustainable improvement in PM capabilities.Assist with business development activities to grow Insight Services business.Mentor less experienced Project Managers.Be AmbITious: This opportunity is not just about what you do today but also about where you can go tomorrow. A.) from four-year college or university7 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the IT services, IT Operations or professional services industry.Experience with hybrid methodologies and agile delivery of technical projects.PMP or Agile certification.Track record of success guiding and leading project teams to success.Skills in all aspects of project management lifecycle and critical processes:Project InitiationPlanning and Work BreakdownResource ManagementBudget ManagementStakeholder ManagementScope ManagementRisk ManagementMust be passionate about continuous improvement.Must be able to manage technical resources working on multiple projects seamlessly.Must be an excellent communicator - both written and oral.Must have excellent customer relationship management skills.The base salary range for this position is typically $110,000 to $130,000 with additional bonus and benefits available.
