Custodial Equipment Repair TechnicianMaintain custodial equipment in a condition of operating readiness; performing routine repairs and preventive maintenance.High school diploma or GED preferredTexas driver's license and pass MVR driving record check - must meet eligibility requirements for CCISD motor vehicle insuranceEffective communication and interpersonal skillsBilingual - Spanish/English preferredBasic knowledge of custodial equipment maintenanceAbility to analyze problems to reach repair solutionsKnowledge of basic bench tools and conceptsMinimum 2 years equipment repair experienceAssume responsibility for the safe and efficient operating condition of custodial and emergency response equipment.Perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and new installations.Document repairs and preventative maintenance utilizing current work order management system.Work with Custodial Equipment Repair Technician, Lead and Assistant Lead Custodians, Fixed Assets, and Maintenance Director, in maintaining accurate inventory of site based custodial and emergency response equipment.Travel to schools to facilitate repairs, preventative maintenance, and/or train custodial staff in proper operating procedures based on manufacturer's recommendations.Work in cooperation with Maintenance Supervisors in maintaining the district's preventive maintenance and energy management programs.Participate in district Standard Reunification Protocol as directed by the Incident Commander or designee.Demonstrate integrity and ethics.Be available for after-hours demands.Exhibit CCISD Core Values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities for personal growth.Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.Demonstrates proficient levels of technology applications.Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for the safety and overall emotional wellbeing of students.Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.Including but not limited to vacuum cleaners, buffers, carpet extractors, sweepers, fans, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers.Ability to maintain concentration while working around moving partsAbility to maintain emotion controlModerate standing, bending, and walkingLifting up to 80 poundsInside and outside exposure to hot and cold temperatures, flammable and toxic liquids, and dustSlippery or uneven walking surfacesAbility to work a flexible schedule.Days in Contract: 230Hours: 8Pay Grade: Aux 3
