About the Position

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred License: Active license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, RRT, state license, high school diploma, and college diploma or transcripts required Must-Have: Previous travel experience preferred Description: Weekends required. Three 12-hour night shifts. Floating between campuses may be required. Patient ratio not applicable. Equipment used includes GE ventilators. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates must possess strong skills in adult critical care. Experience with aerosol setup, BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula is essential. Understanding and interpretation of arterial blood gases is necessary. Responsibilities also include extubation, tracheostomy care, and managing mechanical ventilation. Candidates should be proficient in troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning patients from mechanical ventilation. Experience with emergency department scenarios and various respiratory medications is advantageous. Knowledge of pulmonary hygiene practices is required. Travelers may be required to float to different areas of the facility as necessary.
