Commercial Lines Account Manager

Commercial Lines Middle Market Account Manager (Account Manager) is responsible for servicing clients and prospects for commercial customers of Cross Insurance, while creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, underwriters, and other professionals. Base salary range: $75,000–$110,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity. Responsibilities Follow Large Commercial Timeline, adhere to Cross Procedure Manual and Master CL Workflow Manual Handle large complex accounts (Book of Business up to $1,000,000 or more in revenue) Meet with Producer/AE monthly to review marketing instructions Visit clients as necessary as a proxy for Account Executive Assist in soliciting increases in coverage (round out accounts) Provide an analysis of coverage Have in‑depth technical knowledge of insurance coverages & Products to advise clients with little direction from an Account Executive Understand the daily business operations and exposures of customers Collect applications and underwriting information from Producer/AE and/or client and prospects as necessary to market new and renewal policies Prepare annual review kits and proposals Prepare renewal and new‑business submissions and proposals Follow up with underwriters for the timely receipt of quotes Respond to requests from underwriters Invoice for prompt payment of agency bill invoices and request cancellation of policy when payment(s) are not received per Cross guidelines Create new policy issuance instructions, quote instructions and renewal instructions for insurance company Produce initial binders for renewal and new accounts Provide clear concise instructions for processing new and renewal policies Add Master COIs & EPIs on renewal and new business Respond to customer inquiries including coverage questions and requests for documentation with or without direction of the Producer/AE Answer questions posed by processing analysts Facilitate audit disputes Refer customers to other branches of Cross Insurance (Employee Benefits, Personal Lines, etc.) Qualifications Hold a Property & Casualty license Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial lines Attain CE credits as necessary for licensing Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts up to $1,000,000 or more in revenue Strong knowledge of insurance coverages and products Excellent communication skills with clients, underwriters, and internal teams #J-18808-Ljbffr LEI Cross Financial Corp
