Lead Security Technician

Lead Security Technician Direct Hire, PermanentMidland/Lubbock/OdessaPosition Notes: Very much a field position. Installation and programming of security systems - (Avigilon, Genetec, etc.) Hourly pay w/ OT | Expect ~50 hour work weeks. Driving to jobsites, 1-3 hours any given day | Company vehicle provided. Guide/mentor junior Techs.What You Will Be Doing:Assisting with building project schedules.Managing on-site quality to ensure that project standards are met.Overseeing on-site resources, including subcontractors.Identifying and escalating project issues promptly.Identifying and obtaining change orders as necessary.Assisting with technical installation, programming, and troubleshooting.Providing regular status updates to the Project Manager.Interfacing on-site with General Contractors, other vendors, and stakeholders.Acting as the on-site safety manager to ensure compliance with safety protocols.Managing on-site inventory.Serving as a liaison between the Project Manager and the technical team.Marking up engineering documents for clarity and accuracy.Managing equipment matrix and commissioning documents.What You Will Bring To The Team:5+ years of experience as a Security Technician - Genetec, Avigilon, etc.Mentor junior TechsProven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects or portions of projects.People skills: customer facing positionTravel: Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs.
