Software Implementation Manager (Greater Chicago Area)

Coda Search is proud to partner with a growing operations software company serving distributors and manufacturers to hire three Implementation Managers. The roles are open to candidates in the Chicago metro area who can be in the office approximately two days per week.

Comp : Roughly around $130,000 + bonus + meaningful equity package

Location : Downtown Chicago, IL (Hybrid, 2 days on-site per week)

What will your day look like?

• Understand customer needs: Work with customer stakeholders to map their processes, systems, and goals for the platform.
• Build practical plans: Turn customer requirements into implementation, testing, training, and rollout plans with clear milestones.
• Connect business and technology: Work with customer IT and internal technical teams on configuration, data mapping, integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Guide launch and adoption: Support customers through go-live and help their teams build the software into everyday work.
• Lead customer conversations: Run project meetings and training sessions, explain next steps clearly, and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Track progress: Identify delivery risks and adoption obstacles, coordinate solutions, and follow through on customer outcomes.
• Document and improve: Keep precise requirements and account notes, and help improve how the team delivers implementations.

Who are you?

• Relevant experience: You have 3+ years in technical software implementation, sales or solutions engineering, solutions consulting, or technical project management.
• Technical aptitude: You're comfortable learning a software platform, troubleshooting issues, and working with developers or customer IT.
• Customer ownership: You've designed customer solutions, led software rollouts and adoption, or brought those skills together. You can explain what you owned and the results.
• Clear communication: You're comfortable leading customer conversations, documenting details, and following through as priorities change.
• Bonus points: Experience integrating software with ERP systems such as Epicor, Infor, or NetSuite, or work in distribution, manufacturing, HVAC, or supply chain.
