Now hiring experienced Slitter Operators!
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Slitter Operator to assist in the production process at a leading global printing company.
Schedule – 12 hour rotating shifts, 2/2/3
Day: 7am-7pm
Night: 7pm-7am
Duties Include
- Set up, operate, and monitor slitting machines to accurately cut materials according to specific job orders
- Utilize measurement tools to inspect finished products for quality
- Maintain records of production runs, measurements, and quality inspections
- Inspect slit rolls for surface defects, wrinkles, etc.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a printing manufacturing environment operating slitter machine
- Familiarity with measurement techniques using precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of machinability of different paper weights, sizes, kinds and colors so as to be able to identify paper conditions
