• Lead the development and modernization of healthcare claims solutions at Gainwell.
• Mentor software engineers to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Own technical delivery across the software development lifecycle, from design through release and support.
• Guide architecture, development, and modernization of C/Unix-based healthcare claims applications.
• Partner with product, business, and operations teams to align solutions with client needs.
• Drive engineering excellence through code quality, testing, release readiness, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of software development experience, including technical leadership.
• Strong background in C, Unix/Linux, SQL, and system integration.
• Experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise applications.
• Healthcare claims experience required; Gainwell Interchange preferred.
• Knowledge of SDLC, release management, and modern engineering practices.
• Experience with multiple claims bundling/editing software platforms is desired.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices is a plus.
