Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual needs and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusting techniques based on client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, making necessary amendments to treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of mood disorders to enrich treatment strategies and enhance client outcomes.

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in case consultations and team-building meetings, contributing to a culture of shared learning and support.

• Advocate for clients by actively promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues, reducing stigma, and ensuring access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Uplift Hub Social Work, you will primarily work with clients facing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your expertise will also extend to supporting vulnerable populations, such as individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. This role invites you to engage deeply with clients, helping them navigate their mental health journeys and facilitating their journey toward recovery and emotional stability.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
