Application Developer Sr II

As an Application Developer Sr II, you will design and build software and data solutions that enable advanced clinical insights using modern technologies. You will collaborate with a high-performing Scrum team to deliver innovative capabilities that improve pet health outcomes. This role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work on impactful initiatives using IDEXX’s core clinical data assets. The Clinical Information Services team is focused on developing scalable data, machine learning, and application solutions that drive meaningful insights in veterinary care. You will work alongside software engineers, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver industry-leading capabilities. In this role: You will design, implement proofs of concept, and develop data pipelines and integrations You will contribute to machine learning and application development efforts supporting clinical insights initiatives You will participate in business planning as well as technical architecture and infrastructure strategy You will innovate across technology, development practices, and team processes You will collaborate closely with Architects, Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters across remote teams You will work within a Scrum-based Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions You will mentor and coach junior developers and QA team members You will continuously learn new technologies and share knowledge with peers Why this role matters: This role plays a critical part in advancing IDEXX’s ability to generate actionable clinical insights that improve animal health worldwide.
