Working under general supervision, this role performs routine assembly operations while maintaining the highest quality standards and meeting manufacturing schedules. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and committed to producing high-quality assemblies efficiently.ResponsibilitiesProcess reference sensors, air detectors, and non-sensing devices for core and OEM analyzers.Work with various epoxies, solvents, and chemicals during assembly operations.Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the assembly process to ensure high product yields.Operate a variety of production equipment including automatic dispensing equipment, UV adhesive systems, ultrasonic welders, laser coders, soldering irons, and leak testers.Follow assembly procedures, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and related manufacturing documentation.Produce high-quality assemblies while meeting established production schedules.Collaborate effectively with manufacturing, engineering, and management teams.Maintain compliance with applicable quality and manufacturing procedures.Support continuous improvement initiatives and other manufacturing activities as needed.Experience RequirementsHigh School diploma or Trade School diploma required.Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.Experience building small assemblies.Experience working with epoxies and related assembly materials.Experience using small hand tools.Good math skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Physical Requirements and Working ConditionsAbility to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to [25–50] pounds as required.Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.Ability to bend, reach, stoop, or climb as needed.Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., noise, temperature, equipment).Ability to operate tools, machinery, or technical equipment.Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required.Why Work for Nova BiomedicalFlexible Medical, Dental, & Vision CoverageCompetitive 401k company matchBonus Program, Generous PTO and paid holidaysGenerous Tuition reimbursementProfessional development, engagement and eventsCompany marketplace for lunch and snacks in our Norwood, MA, Billerica, MA and Westbrook, ME officesCompany subsidized cafeteria in our Waltham, MA officeWork Location: Waltham, MA – On-siteTargeted Salary Range: $24-$26/hrNova Biomedical believes in transparency and integrity throughout all we do, including compensation.
