Plant Manager

Reference: PR/604470_1785874398Position Summary:As Plant Manager you will lead a complex chemical manufacturing operation, providing strategic and day-to-day leadership across production, engineering, quality, maintenance, and EHS. This individual will be responsible for driving operational performance, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting long-term growth objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership of the facility, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations while achieving quality, service, productivity, and cost objectives.Develop and execute site strategies related to capacity expansion, capital investments, operational excellence, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.Lead and develop manufacturing and technical teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, employee engagement, and positive labor relations.Drive process optimization, problem-solving, and performance improvement efforts while ensuring compliance with EHS, PSM, and quality management systems.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Operations, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience within chemical, materials, specialty manufacturing, or other process-driven environments, including experience leading operations in a union setting.Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, Process Safety Management (PSM), quality systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and operational best practices.Proven track record leading capital projects, operational improvement initiatives, and high-performing cross-functional teams.
