Required Skills & Experience:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT)
• Current certification or licensure as required by the state

• Proficiency in patient assessment, treatment planning, and education
• Previous experience in an acute care, critical care, or hospital setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to safety protocols and infection control standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Operate advanced respiratory equipment and monitor patients throughout therapy
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to optimize individualized patient care plans
• Provide education to patients and families on equipment usage and respiratory care techniques
• Document treatment plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Adhere to established hospital policies, state, and federal regulations for patient care and safety
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including cardiac and pulmonary codes

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
