Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Magnet-designated teaching hospital, requiring a CT/Compact license, Epic experience, and call coverage.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a 186-bed Magnet-designated teaching hospital
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required twice weekly, either 5p-7p or 7p-11p
• Weekends and holidays required as needed by the department
• Epic charting system used

Requirements

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) required
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 1 professional reference required
• Skills across specialties may be required including gynecology, plastics, neurology, general surgery, orthopedics, endoscopic procedures, urology, robotics, and ENT surgeries
• Da Vinci Xi Surgical System experience may be preferred for robotic cases

• Perform circulating and scrub duties across a variety of surgical specialties

• Candidates must not be local, defined as residing within 75 miles of the hospital
• Former staff must have separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved
