Join a stable, growing organization in the construction industry High visibility role with direct exposure to leadership Strong opportunity to build and improve accounting processes/procedures Competitive base salary + benefits Responsibilities Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close process Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Supervise, mentor, and review the work of accounting staff Identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements within the accounting function Assist with the design and implementation of internal controls and standardized workflows Support external audit requests and ensure compliance with GAAP Collaborate with FP&A and senior finance leadership on reporting and process initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including construction, real estate, or project-based industries Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred Strong understanding of GL accounting and month-end close processes Demonstrated experience driving process/procedure improvements CPA a plus, not required Strong Excel skills; ERP/construction accounting software experience a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Australia-Employment
